Our Story
About Farad Power
Farad Power Inc was founded by a team of industry veterans with more than 50 years of cumulative experience in electrochemistry, materials science, and commercialization of carbon technologies. We have also assembled a distinguished scientific advisory board with deep experience in cell chemistries of lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries and electrode/cell fabrication technologies.
We have further strengthened our scientific capabilities through strategic partnerships with key universities through our various STTR development projects. These partnerships have not only provided access to world-class research infrastructure, but have also accelerated our material development timelines and validated our technology against the most demanding performance benchmarks in the field.
Our mission is to secure the future of energy storage by engineering the next generation of carbon-based anode materials — domestically produced, renewably sourced, and purpose-built to meet the performance demands of EVs, grid storage, defense, and aviation.
